'Kurdistan Azadi Party' Stands in Solidarity with Baloch Struggle for Freedom
Oppressed Nations Must Cooperate to Achieve Freedom from Foreign Invaders.
The volatile political, economic, and social situation in Iran is characterized these days by increasing demonstrations and violent clashes between the regime and the people.
The regime faces political deadlock, international deadlock, and economic mismanagement, leading to skyrocketing prices, inflation, unemployment, poverty, and corruption.
The regime also suppresses protesters, especially young people who use motorcycles to write anti-regime slogans and burn government posters at night.
Despite the regime's efforts to suppress demonstrations, the activity of defiant young people and the resistance units guarantees a ground for stronger protests that will be decisive.
Demonstrations broke out in various parts of Iran, including Zahedan and Balochistan, with demonstrators chanting slogans against the regime, the Revolutionary Guards, and the security forces.
The situation in Iran is very explosive, and any mistake or stupidity on the part of the regime may cause a spark that will lead to wider protests and violent uprisings.
On April 22, 2023, the 'Free Balochistan Movement' UK branch and activists from the Coordination Committee for 'Al-Ahwaz' protested against Iran's illegal occupation of Baluchistan and Al-Hawaz.
They participated in a long march and protest in Trafalgar Square and outside 10 Downing Street, London.
The activists carried national flags, banners, and placards to raise awareness of the human rights violations occurring in these regions.
In Germany, 'FBM' (The 'Free Balochistan Movement') activists attended a seminar to discuss the situation in Balochistan and the 'Maho Baloch Movement' (a movement that started in Iranian Occupied Balochistan after the rape of a Baloch girl by the Chabahar police chief).
Razieh Baluch, a member of the Free Balochistan Movement, highlighted the need for oppressed nations to unite and use their energy for the freedom of their lands.
Meanwhile, the 'Kurdistan Azadi Party' expressed solidarity with the Baloch nation and condemned the recent wave of executions by Iran.
"The Killing of Baloch people will not defeat their struggle".
The party believes that the Baloch people's struggle for freedom cannot be defeated by such killings, and calls for the nations under the Persian regime's occupation to drive the occupying forces out of their lands.
We can learn that there are ongoing human rights violations and illegal occupations occurring in Baluchistan and Al-Hawaz.
The 'Free Balochistan Movement' and the Coordination Committee for Al-Ahwaz are actively protesting against these injustices and advocating for the freedom of their lands from foreign invaders.
The 'Kurdistan Azadi Party' expressed solidarity with the Baloch nation over the recent wave of executions of Baloch people by Iran.
The party believes that these killings are clear revenge against the resilience of the Baloch people, who have been steadfast in their struggle for freedom.
The party also recognizes the historical dispute between Iran and the Baloch and expresses support for the Baloch people's efforts for liberation.
The Kurdistan Azadi Party and the Baloch people both belong to oppressed nations under the occupation of the Persian regime.
Therefore, they share a common struggle against the occupying forces and a desire for self-determination.
The party's solidarity with the Baloch people shows the importance of oppressed nations uniting and cooperating with each other to achieve their freedom.
The 'PAK' further emphasizes that the Persian government is trying to create terror and intimidation of the people who are in historical dispute with Iran for their freedom.
However, the Baloch nation has remained firm on its national identity and efforts for liberation despite facing genocide, mass slaughter, linguicide, loot, and plunder of resources for a century.
The 'PAK' believes that the Baloch people and other colonized nations' liberation struggle will eventually bring the Persian government to its knees.
The PAK and the Free Balochistan Movement believe that oppressed nations need to unite, cooperate with each other, and use their energy for the freedom of their lands from foreign invaders.
The highlight of this article is the announcement of the 'Kurdistan Azadi Party' and the expression of solidarity with the Baloch nation on early May 2023.
The ‘Azadi Kurdistan Party' faction has a history of armed conflict with Iran, particularly during the 1990s and early 2000s.
The group has been accused several times of carrying out attacks against the security forces and Iranian infrastructure, and of course has taken responsibility for various attacks in Iran, especially against the security forces along the border in the Sistan-Baluchistan provinces and in the Zahedan area, and even in more western provinces bordering Iraq, such as Qandil stronghold.
This organization has a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist ideology and places great emphasis on maintaining human rights and women's rights in particular.
It is likely to continue its militant actions, particularly when it identifies with the Balochi nation.
Conclusion
Following this surprising statement, will we witness an intensifying wave of offensive actions against the Iranian regime? Most likely, but not immediately!
From the statement given, I estimate that the organization is gathering its strength for an offensive wave, possibly in cooperation with various Balochistan factions.
This cooperation could involve more arms smuggling along the border, which would require the neutralization of positions along the borders, as well as intelligence sharing.
As a result, we may see more targeted countermeasures, given that Iranian intelligence services will take this statement seriously.
Regarding the nature of the demonstrations, I foresee the concentration of the demonstrations mainly in the Qandil stronghold and less in the area of Baluchistan province, in order for the militant faction to establish its capabilities.
This could suggest that the group may focus its activities along the Iran-Iraq border and in Balochistan, rather than in Zahedan specifically.
From Iran's perspective, we can expect to see more actions targeting the 'PAK' militant faction.
One significant step taken by Iran recently is the inauguration of an airbase in the city of Zahedan, in Sistan and Balochistan Province, aimed at improving their drone and helicopter fleet in the southeast of the country.
The base is capable of hosting all types of combat, search, and rescue helicopters, as well as various types of drones, according to the statement.
Will this step pose a threat to the various militant factions in the area?
With the latest statement by the 'Kurdistan Azadi Party' ('PAK') faction, there is no doubt that this step could give Iran greater control over the region, and I estimate we will see more military actions in the area soon.
